Can anyone give their opinion of the Canon 8400F Scanner? It would be for
home use to scan 35mm negatives and the negatives from a camera like this,
http://www.cosmonet.org/camera/rollei_e.htm

Thanks

Martin

Is medium format the size of negatives that come from the link of the Rollie
camera below? I know someone who has lots of black and white negatives from
a camera like that and I'm sure they would get a kick out of digitizing
them. I wish the manufacturers would show samples of what can be
accomplished with each model. I can't find samples anywhere. Thanks for your
opinion.

No consumer-class flatbed scanner is suitable for 35mm film. You need
a dedicated film scanner in order to get high quality results.
