Canon MP370 problem

I have just purchased a canon MP370 which I find great except for one
problem. The canon Easy Photoprint software version 2.02 will not work with
my system. I use Windows XP Pro. I downloaded the same version from their
web site in case the copy on cd was corrupt but to no avail, however, the
Easy Photoprint Plus version 1.00 works fine! Easy Photoprint Plus will not
run without Easy Photoprint being installed.
The 2.02 version of Easy PhotoPrint works ok on a pc running Windows XP Home
though. The problem I have appears to do with the program trying to access
what may be a restricted memory area.
The error message I get is as follows:
BJEZPRN.exe - Application Error. The Instruction at "0x00c11ebb" referenced
memory at "0x2016b4b0" The memory could not be "written"
Press OK to terminate program or Cancel to Debug.
I would appreciate it if anyone could shed some light on this problem. Canon
appear not to know what's causing it.
Any help would be appreciated.
