My printer gives the Waste ink full error'

I have tried to reset it with the discription below

1) Power off printer
2) Hold RESUME button then press and hold POWER.
3) Hold POWER and Release RESUME.
4) Press RESUME twice then release both POWER and RESUME buttons.
5) When the indicator lights steady, press RESUME 4 times
6) Press power to set data.
7) Print away!

but it dit not work.

between step 4 and 5 de led is stil blinking the error code green 7 *
organge green .....
when i push the resume buttom in step 5 the led alternate color for each
press.
when I pres power once to set data the led is green and stay green
one more power cycle and i have the same error green ans 7 times orange

any suggestions

Try removing the printhead and then doing the reset. I have heard this works
for some Canon printers.
BTW at step 5 it is normal for the LED to alternate green/orange with each
press.

thx for the quick answer

I put that line in place to ensure tha the printer is in service mode

I have tried the steps without the printhead but it does not work, same
problem

OK. Worth a try.
Does the error alternate orange/green 7 times or blink orange only 7 times?
The first error is either waste pad counter overflow or Main logic board
failure. The second error is cartridge failure.

The orange is only blinking 7 times

thus one time green

Green orange orange orange orange orange orange orange Green ect.

This error is not the waste counter but a cartridge problem (printhead failure).
