Epson R265 Inkjet Refills

Hi All, I am using the above printer with cartridges that you can refill, & that the printer detects as genuine, problem I have is that I refill them & I flash the chip with a gizmo I have bought I know they are full yet the Epson Status Monitor still shows them as either half full 1/4 full etc. I have taken the ink outso there is nothing in them & 1 or more resets itself to say full but all not at the same time, is there any way to get them to show full together & then me fill them with ink????
