Hi folks. Hope you had a good holiday.

When I bought my Epson R800, I was under the impression that
printing could be done on a CD/DVD right up to the center hole,
but I'm having no luck in discovering how to do this.
I'm going back to the manual yet again to see if I've missed something,
but would like to hear from others who know whether this type of
printing is possible.

Thanks for your help!

Rod

Epson Print CD software
file pulldown
inner/outer diameter settings
custom CD
25mm inner diameter
116mm outer diameter

been printing CDs over 9 months,TY hub printable CDR and Ridata hub
printable DVD-R

if you are trying to do this in Nero or Photoshop , good luck

Oh, thank you very much!
I kept seeing info about
print positioning in the manual,
but nothing about inner/outer
settings there, so this of great help.

Thanks for your help!

Hm...inner ring should be possible to set to 17 mm...25 is too large. Maybe
creating a new template will help - it does with Canon software, where i've
had the same problem. Also outer dia should be ¸118 for borderless print.

The software shows a spread from
20mm - 120mm. I can play with these
to see what happens, then just lock it right there.

My original software(for Canon) allowed even less. But after i created a new
template, it was ok, so see if you can do it also - outer dia is ok, just
inner is a bit too large, as will result in small white ring .

Well, here's a pic of the disc at 20 and 120mm.
Unfortunately, my scan shows the middle ring to be white
(due to scanner reflection), but actually,
the small inner ring is clear plastic - you can see right thru it -
so it looks really good when viewed while holding it.
I'm using Verbatim, white, hub printables
(some of the graphic is blurry on purpose):

Aha...i see you have blanks with small inner transparent ring...i have ones
without them and so i needed smaller inner size. So, if you plan to use
yours, it's OK. Mabye - just in case - see if you can set inner ring to a
smaller value - you never know...

I tried putting numbers in instead of using the slider.
It threw up a notice that I could only use 20 to, I think, 50mm
for the inner, so this is the closest.
I changed the position of the commercial logo
and rescanned it for a better image:

Aha...so, stick with these blanks, and you'll be fine. The one in the pic is
quite perfect.
