fax printing slows my computer

-- Sometimes When I try to print my fax, the printing wizard response slows
to a
screaching halt and it in turn slows my computer also, but other times it
works fine. Any suggestions to trouble shoot this scenaio will help me a lot
as I print lot of faxes from my computer while working. I print to a hp psc
2410 xi photosmart all in one printer.
