help for print

I have hp laser jet 1200 series pcl printre and use win xp.i have face some problem when i make a documents in ms word and print it.it has done but when i have isert a picture from a file and want to print it but it did not print gave error.what setting can ido in my pc for this .
when i wants to print acrobat pdf file it also did not prin and show error plz. help me to solve this problem. thanks
