HP4500DTN heavy banding

Hi all,

Getting heavy banding on my 4500DTN printer. First page is mild, but it progressively gets worse - the banding matches the previous page, and the new page image progressively gets fader where the banding goes over the image. I pulled out the ITB halfway through a page, and I can see the banding. Can I fix this, or do I need a new ITB?
