Laptop having problems finding MFC-495CW printer.

I have a Brother MFC-495CW which is a wireless printer. When I connect the printer and laptop to my Linksys network (no internet access) the printer is online. When I connect the printer and the laptop to my Bell wireless internet network the printer shows offline on my laptop. The problem is I dont want to have to change my wireless network to the linksys everytime I print. I reset and uninstalled the printer from my laptop. I connected the printer to my wireless bell network and reinstalled it. During the installation it went to a page that read "choose the brother machine you want to install", then a pop-up page came saying "no devices could be found over the network". I have not found out how to connect the printer and laptop together without using the linksys router please help.

Do you have the latest driver?

I would suggest going to Brother and getting the latest driver as well as updating your computer's OS
