Hi,

I currently have an HP OfficeJet 7410 that has both a legal and letter
paper tray. I have a program that prints a certain amount of legal
sheets and letter sheets in the same print job. No matter what I set in
the printer driver, it only prints on one or the other.

Do you have any idea how to configure the 7410 and get it to work. Or
do you know any printer that you know can automatically select paper
type during the one print job.

I tried contacting HP about this, they replied with a generic message
which told me what I already knew. So they are no help.

Thanks,
Nite Rider

Your print program may let you select paper tray. Most all printers
will recognize codes to do this. Note you may need to mark *every* page
with a code as the printer will not revert back to the "standard" tray.

Can you add a printer in Windows and change it to a certain tray?Like 7410
legal.
I have my Canon that lets me do this and I just select the legal tray
printer from my software program.
