Windows 2000 with all service packs and fixes. Epson inkjet printer. Always
worked using an LPT cable, now when one prints, it doesnt and the system
crawls. Printing a test [again, nothing happens and when one hits the [x] to
close it, explorer.exe stops responding. We tried to print with USB, but the
same thing happens. From a cmd box, dir>prn doesnt print either. IF we
reinstall the printer software, one can then print, until the system is
rebooted. We tried "print directly to printer" and that didnt help!
Suggestions? Thanks!
