The Epson Stylus Photo R220 manual is so complete that it doesn't mention
how to turn the printer off and on, and what the three top buttons are for
exactly. I can guess that the one on the right, turns green when pushed on,
is for ON. But since I can't get this printer (just acquired from a friend)
to work, and the left button has turned red, I'm in a quandry... not
knowning what the red means, and what it means when the green light is
flashing, or when both green and red are on. This is such basic
information, I'm guessing the technical writer for this manual was so
over-educated that he/she/it couldn't believe someone wouldn't already know
these simple facts.

Would someone please help me out with this as I can continue troubleshooting
without this basic knowledge.

Thanks,

jc

Arg!! I 'm so stupid, found the answers in the troubleshooting section.
Where else could they have been, certainly not at the beginning of the
manual...the part that's titled "Printing from Start to Finish", no not
there for gods sake, anywhere but there! And the next secret is that you
won't find Troubleshooting listed in the Table of Contents, you must pull up
the Index to find it of course...
