As tony suggested, the answer is no. Most inkjets mix color in for
greyscale printing. This one AFAIK employs a pump for head cleaning,
as in there is no way to say clean the black, everything gets
cleaned. There isn't really any way that I know about to encourage
the printer to just use black ink, and even if you could, every time
you swap out the black you're going to lose some color.

THE ANSWER IS YES. FILL ALL COLOR CARTS WITH BLACK INK AND THE PRINTER
WILL ONLY PRINT IN BLACK.
