Epson R3000 Ink Blobs

I have owned the Epson R3000 for the past year with no issues. During the last week, I have gone through a half box of Red River Greeting Card stock, due to getting horizontal "ink blobs". I have cleaned the head twice to no avail. I may get one card to print cleanly and then five in a row that have the wet ink laying on them in various spots. I have used this card stock and exact procedure for a year with no issues. Any suggestions would be appreciated, as I have holiday cards to get out. Thanks

I have the same problem with my R3000. After a year+ of use the printer started to blob black ink over each print. After head clean, alignment .... no change. This is very annoying.

Did you manage to resolve your issue?
