removing R285 covers

my epson r285 has developed a feed problem, occasionally stopping the paper half way into the feed and the roller makes a grating noise, rather than pay epson repair £70 just to look at it, when I can get a new printer cheaper, I thought I would have a go at repair myself, the printer is 7 years old, I would like to ask how the casing is removed please?
