I have an HP L7680 that is missing the

Ink service station (ISS) bottom absorber foam - absorbs ink during the cleaning process. Service station absorber (sponge) - soaks up used ink during cartridge cleaning.
I found a replacement on line for like $36 plus $20 shipping. This seems really outlandish for a small strip of foam. Does anyone have a work around for ‘this problem? Thanks
