I have used the Epson photo stylus printers for years and it’s time to upgrade (R3260, R380?)
I print on Staples Ultra Premium Photo Paper 2-sided matte to make photo note cards (2-up on a 8.5x11 sheet. I used Claris archival inks— CMYK & light magenta and light cyan.
It worked well for years except that the paper sometimes needed coaxing to get it to feed. And also now the inks are harder to get and are expensive. (78/77 series).
I have been looking at the eco tank printers or at least refillable inks to keep costs down.
Any suggestions on an Epson with these qualifications:
-vibrant color ink and great print quality.
- tank filled ink to save on costs.
-Top feeding it tray that can handle paper that is at least the same as the Staples paper at 61 lb., 11 mi, and 230 gsm.
-can print 8.5x11
Any recommendations?
Thank you!
Bill
