Black Background

I have printed several receipts lately off web. I end up getting a solid black page (using tons of ink) with white printing on it when they have a black background.

I checked Tools and the box is UNchecked for background and image printing.

Is there anything else I can 'uncheck'? I'm wasting ink.

I've also got greyscale checked and black only.

A broken charging unit causes a totally black page print. Try removing and reinstalling the print cartridge or photoconductor unit, the electrical contacts between the removable unit and the main part of the printer may not be connecting properly, otherwise replace the print cartridge/photoconductor unit with a new one.
