Brother DCP-7065 Please Wait....

I turn on this machine and it only cycles like it is starting with Please Wait on the screen. then the screen goes blank and it starts over. My computer registered each time it connects and disconnects with the typical system sound.
I tried to drum reset. If I opened the cover, it displays the correct message of open door. I just can't get this to function. Any help?
