Hi all, first time posting on this forum.

I've searched around a bit but haven't found anything regarding my situation.

I've purchased this printer from the USA.

Now I'm moving to Greece and there the voltage supply is at 220 Volts so I'll need a transformer. But what should I do about the power requirements?

I see from the specs on Brother's site that during printing the device consumes 555 Watts of power. So will I need a transformer of at least 555 Watts to cope or even more? I somehow remember that I've seen a spec of maximum consumption for this printer at about 1100 Watts, but I can't seem to find the source of that spec now.

Can anyone shine some light on the matter?
Thanks in advance!

Check you printer electrical spec it maybe 220 ready you may only need a wall converter. If that is not setup that way you can get a Transformer that will reduce the the 220 to 110 should range about 40/50 dollars.
