Brother MFC 9125CN error when printing

Firtware updates are up to date.
Does photocopy and scan

Trying to print anything from PC and this error comes up.

I have run the printing troubleshooter from Step 2; https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...4-6025-dcc1-3aefaa14ab40/fix-printer-problems.

No avail.

Any ideas to resolve this issue?

Uninstall printer. Re-install using original CD. Follow install instructions for your printer.

Click Start -> Devices & Printers - > Right Click Brother Printer -> Select "Remove"
Then do re-install

Meant to add:
If printer performs well after re-install, avoid installing updates.

If using USB connection, check connections or try different USB cable.

If using "Wireless", check wireless printer/router setup.

Also the following:

Click Start -> Devices & Printer
You should see your Brother printer icon with green check (indicating default printer).
If another printer so marked, right click your printer icon and select "make default"

Lastly:
If you just want to print .xlsx, you can use application FoxPDF Software: XlsX Viewer.
It is free download. Or you may use Excel Viewer
