Hi all,
I am new to this forum and will be grateful for your help.
Just noticed the ring delay in my 18 month old Brother MFC-J1010DW machine does not work. I set it to all 1 - 8 rings and it still connects after two rings. This is much too short for using an ext. telephone. Brother online instructions suggest to set EASY RECEIVE function to OFF, but I cannot find EASY RECEIVE in my settings.
Please help.

Below are the steps you should follow on your printer’s control panel to easily add the ring delay.

• First to the menu and choose the Settings option.
• Navigate to the Fax option and select Setup Receive.
• Now, tap on the Ring Delay option.
• Choose the required ring delay.

After that, see if you are still facing the same problem. If the issue still exists then It would be good to take the additional help to get the expert knowledge to fix the your Brother printer ring delay issue efficiently.
