Had two hardware failures in 11 years, is that normal, 5.5 years average life expectancy, usage is between low and moderate, max 200-300 pages per month? Is this the new norm? MFC-9130CW and MFC-L2820DW. Similar symptoms but not entirely normalized...Also Brother replacing my clients MFC-L2820DW (4 months old) with a refurb'd same model with an unknown history (page count, fuser age) after offering to replace it with a newer model. They don't want the defective model back to even attempt to fix and further refurb. Escalated issue but what waste of time, my god. Prolly done pushing Brother, but definitely not going back to HP, any other Brands getting good feed back (Epson, Lexmark, etc....)
Anyone have any idea if its worth it to fix the defective one, as it seems we need to have two Brother printers for "business continuation"?
What do companies do for next day business support for printer similar to workstations?
Thanks in advance for feedback.
