Brother printer IPv4 filtering

I have a DCP-L2540DW brother printer connected wirelessly on my personal network. When accessing the printer via its IP address, under the Network tab, there is a menu item for IPv4 filtering. Sadly, I cannot find anything in the manuals that addresses that function.

I'm looking at that with the hope that I can selectively prevent one of the users on my network from using the printer.

Does anyone have knowledge of use for IPv4 filtering? And if so, can you point me to instructions for its use?
