Brother Printer won't print over RDP?

Hi,

We currently have a Brother MFC-250C that is connected via USB to PC1.
We would like to be able to print over a remote desktop connection to the printer from PC2 (in another building, and therefore different network)
I have selected the 'Printer' tickbox when I connect to PC2. Every printer is connected to the client apart from the Brother MFC-250C.
What could be the issue with this specific printer connecting via the RDP protocol? Could it be a driver?
