c4480 Scan Error

Hi

I have an HP Photosmart C4480. My scanner has suddenly stopped working when I scan to computer. The error message is: "Scan error: Try scan from computer or see documentation."
I thought the scan light may have burned out, but when I scan to print it scans OK.
I am using Mac OSX.

Any replies appreciated, thanks!

Download the HP software for mac. Make sure it's the full feature software. If you already have the latest version reinstall it. Then unplug your printer and wait a minute or two before plugging it back in. This usually fixes the problem.
