Can’t get ET-2720 to air print

I have an IPad and an Epson ET-2720 printer. In the past, I have had my printer set up to air print and it has worked fine. I have forgotten how I got this air print thing setup and it has quit working . I have tried everything I can think of to set up air print and nothing works.
I have been able to print from my IPad by switching it to printer’s Direct Print Wi_Fi , but then I have to switch back to the internet wi-fi to browse the internet.
