Canon ip5270 flashing error light.

Had the above printer about 2 years, amber error light flashing 10 times, error msg, duplex printing error. Canon were unhelpful as was Google. Any can help please?

Printing Error Ten (10) Flashes: Cannot print on sides of the page. Size of paper may not be compatible with Automatic Duplex Printing. See manual for information on paper size compatible with Auto Duplex Printing. Pressing the RESUME/CANCEL button will discharge the paper. Printing will then print from the front side of the next paper. Reverse side will not print.
