can't print from lexmark x5320

i've been getting a pop up saying "problem communicating with the printer" i've tried everything the pop up message tells me. the firewall settings were ok, unplugging and replugging in, restarting even. i was opting to uninstall and reintsall the software AND drivers. any thoughts?

check your USB cord, you may need to replace it. Also, make sure you use a USB port where you connected your cord isn't damaged.
