Cant print from Macintosh OS X to Ricoh printer

Hi,

I had a client who had a Ricoh Aficio MP 2000 which is setup as a network printer in their office with IP 123.456.789.102. While one of the staff is using the Macintosh OS X version 10.8.4 and she wants to connect to this network printer. I had already tried to setup the printer for her but failed to make the device to print documents from her Macbook.

I had tried all sort of ricoh driver downloaded from the RICOH website as well as using Gutenprint 5.2.9. But then it doesn't work and it shows:

"unable to verify the printer on your network. Unable to connect to the printer IP 123.456.789.102 due to an error. Would you like to create the printer?"

Could any1 help please?
