Cheap, reliable, colour laser printer

Hi,

We're looking for a cheap, reliable, colour laser printer for a small office environment. When I say cheap I mean to buy and to run. It doesn't have to be super high quality output as we have another printer for those duties but it does have to be Mac compatible. As most of our output is black and white, with occasional colour, we want a printer that doesn't use the colour cartridges when printing only black.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Been looking at the Lexmark C544, but I'm sure I've read that due to some kind of issue with the Mac driver the colour cartridges are used when printing only black, meaning they run down quicker.

Anyone have any advice or suggestions?

Personally I would stay well away from Lexmark as the ink cartridges can be very expensive. I would try looking at either HP or Canon as an option as I have used both brands before without any problems.
