Cool prints...but how did they do it?

I came across these cool prints of old drawings for sale. I was wondering what techniques/equipment were used to make them. According to the seller, they were digitally printed on archival paper and ink. I came across a promotional video on Youtube. I've also attached an image of the different color prints he is offering. For the ones with the colored backgrounds, wouldn't he has to use up a lot of ink if he used an inkjet printer?
