EPSON ET-2650 Paper Jam Error

My EPSON ET-2650 printer gives Paper Jam Error on power-up. There is no paper jammed. What can be done to resolve the issue?

An answer was given on just answers:

It is the internal papersensor that has faulted, this now confirms it

I am really sorry about this and you are going to have to return the printer to have this replaced.

The printer can not be returned, is it possible to fix or replace the sensor? Where is this sensor located?
