Epson Premium Posterboard Matte #S450432

Good afternoon everyone,

Our office has just started using the 24 x 30 sized Epson Premium Posterboard Matte material after our inventory of EPSON Enhanced Matte Posterboard was depleted.

We soon discovered that this material is thinner and we are having a difficult time in determining what side is printable. Also we have been using the profile for the Enhanced Matte Posterboard as there is no profile available for the newer material.

Has anyone had any experience with this board material to suggest what profile is recommended or even to determine what side is the printable side.

Any info or advice is surely appreciated.

Hey David, the printable side is usually the slightly brighter or smoother one, try a tiny water drop test, the side that absorbs it faster is the print side. Since there’s no dedicated profile yet, you can use the Enhanced Matte or Premium Presentation Matte profile as a good starting point and tweak your settings from there. Works fine for most setups.
