I can't scan from the control panel on the printer/scanner Epson xp-324 using a USB cable, I can only scan using the Epson scanner software on my computer. The error I get is unavailable & a communication error. Can someone help me

Thank you but how can I scan directly from my Epson XP 324 printer. Can you tell me the steps to follow.
