I have an Epson r1800 and have recently cleaned the print head by removing it and doing it manually. When I have put it all back together it switches on fine and initiates but when I go to print anything the print head moves to the left and the printer switched off. I can press the power button off and back on again and it does the whole thing again. I know it is the print head as I had another working one that was fine but that one is also doing the same thing after a manual clean now (although previous manual cleans worked fine)
If anyone has any ideas or knows of a way to fix this please let me know as I have 2 r1800's sat not working now.
