Print job does not print
Background
Our company produces and sells a hospitality point of sale system. The system is developed in .Net (framework 4) and uses a MS SQL Server database (2008). Clients use Epson ethernet TMT88v and TM U-U230 receipt and kitchen printers. The software uses the Espon advanced printer driver v.52c or higher. The application runs in client server mode or Terminal services mode.
Issues
From time to time our clients report that a job which has been sent to a kitchen or receipt printer does not print. When we check the print spooler, there are no jobs hung in the spooler. We are at a loss to explain to our clients what happened to the print jobs.
Insight or suggestions will be most appreciated.
