Thanks for bearing with me as I post about a scanner and not a printer (sorry) out of desperation I thought I would try here, having had no luck following hours of searching on youtube and google.

Recently purchased an Epson V39 II scanner to reproduce and digitalise some artwork that I have created. The images the scanner is producing are absolutely terrible. They are very over exposed and de-saturated. They don't represent the artwork itself. I have uninstalled and installed various different versions of the Epson Scanning Software. I have tried connecting the scanner to several computers to ensure it's not a limitation of the Macbook Pro I'm using and the same quality of image is being produced.

Hoping someone can tell me if this is common. I did a bit of research prior to purchasing this scanner and am so disappointed.

Paints used are acrylics, not metalics so I'm a bit stumped.
