Epson XP 322 cartridge loading failing

Hi,

I have an XP 322 that is only 2 months old. The Magenta ink ran out so my wife selected 'ink replacement', took out the old cartridge and correctly put in a new one. However there is no magenta being printed, which I can prove if I print out the nozzle check page. I've since tried replacing magenta with cartridges from 2 different companies, but never get any magenta ink coming out.

So it seems that we have a blackage somewhere, but can anyone advise how to proceed on fixing this?
