EPSON XP-405 Black ink not printing

Hi
I recently changed an empty black ink cartridge with a new cartridge - but now black ink will not print
I have now tried using official and unofficial black ink cartridges, and have run the Head cleaning function three times but black will still not print. Can anyone help?

I had the same problem it was a software issue once I had updated all was well
