I have been printing Verbatim DVD discs, 98492, on my XP-630 for some time, without any problem. I recently started burning Blu Ray discs and bought some Verbatim Blu Ray printable discs, 97339. I can burn a label to a DVD disc without any problem. I then put one of the Blu Ray discs into the tray and try to print the same label I just printed on the DVD disc, and get the error message "CD/DVD is not loaded or unsupported sized CD/DVD is loaded" and the tray kicks back out. Both discs are the same size.
I called Epson support and it was a waste of time. It took me 10 minutes to explain the initial problem, after I had submitted it via email on their form, and then I got all kinds of things to do that had nothing to do with the problem. Her solution was I wasn't using printable discs, which I am. At that point I gave up.
Has anyone else with a XP-630 had a problem and gotten this error message while trying to print a CD?
