Error message 0001005 appears on an Epson Stylus Pro 9800

Hi, I had an initial 0002 error message appear on our Epson Stylus Pro 9800 to reset the counter on the C R Motor.
Pressed the Menu, Down and Pause button upon start to select the Service Mode 2 in order to reset it but could not get the
Service Mode 2 appear. Tried at least 6 times. I did get a menu which allowed me to locate CR Motor but it didn't extend into another message so pressed the enter button. BIG MIstake as upon restart the 0001005 error message appeared. Is there any way I can get out of this problem and reset the counter so that the machine will again reboot without error messages and allow us to continue to print? Hope someone can let me know is this can be solved easily.
