ET2720 Rainbow effect on thin lines when scanning

I am scanning in an already filled out form, is there any way to avoid the thin form lines appearing like a rainbow.

I have tried rotating the document so the lines are a different way to the scanner light, it did help, but now the lines that are going the other way are like rainbows.
