There is such thing as a 3d printer. 3D printing seems to be a very popular thing now and the industry seems to be potentially moving in that direction for architectural and engineering works. Using layers of material that is melded together via heat and pressure the design is created. Very opposite of standard machining techniques that use drills to carve etc.
Thanks for the response. Further question though, do you think this could be available for home use or this 3D printing would only be for industry production? It would be nice to have this kind of device at home, don't you think?
Yeah, there are now effective 3D printers out there, but it is one pricey feature to be buying off. Although the is somewhat very new, there are only a limited kind of materials that you can use with it.
