Failed to print error

Not a very tech savy person but I need some help. My printer suddenly failed to complete printing documents. Some pages seem to print fine others dont finish but it is always the same spot on each page that it stops at.

I originally thought that my printer was faulty (an old lexmarc) so I bought a new canon printer but it seems to be the same problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.
