HL-2270DW toner life

This printer is going through toner cartridges at least twice as fast as my previous Brother lasers. Getting about 1,500 pages per TN450 cartridge, as opposed to 3-4,000 pages on previous models. No other changes in type of printing etc, not sure how to explain this. Any ideas? Thanks! ...Steve

have you checked the yield advertised for the TN450.
It might be very limited.

The TN450 is a high-yield cartridge, the same one I've been using for many years. Dunno why I'm getting only half the yield with this new printer...
