How to get grid lines printed

I have a Brother DCP-J315W Printer and have just changed my laptop and when I tried to print a spreadsheet it printed without any grid lines and when I went into print review it showed no lines.There were lines two days ago when I used my old laptop for the last time.Can someone tell me how to get the lines back again.Thanks
