How to install printer's (DCP-2640DW) IP address?

I have successfully set up the Brother DCP-2640DW. I can wirelessly print and scan, but the scan only goes to the PC, and does not directly print out. In order to get it to print out, I need to enter/change the printer's password, but can't do this because the printer does not have a proper IP address...which presently is 0.0.0.0. How do I get the correct IP address? Thanks.
