[QUOTE="olboldie, post: 228808, member: 25254"] I have a legacy HL-52 printer which has an ethernet port which presumedly appeared in HL-5250DN only. The network printing had worked until recently until some local network changes were done and the params were lost. The documents on the Brother site refer to only 5240 or 5250DN. The triple press on Go button retrieves only the the settings without the network part, but it reports as HL-5240 Series with SN K6J699319 So I don't know how to handle network settings for this printer. No native CD is available and I have only computers with Windows11. I'm able to print via Universal Brother Printer Driver and USB port. I guess that it's network properties are similar to the ones of 5250DN, but I'd like to read the network parameters of the printer prior to resetting it to factory settings if it's possible and if someone knows.
