hp 1217 nfw printer problem

Heloo

I have HP 1217 nfw printer.
I have a wifi network in office for all users and a cisco switch. When i connect my printer to cisco switch directly, i m able to ping printer ip but cannot download the smartinstall feature using IP.

Also in Add printer the printer is not listed

Can anybody suggest the problem

Better install the printer first to a computer then connect later to the switch.
